New factory for RTG International

RTG International, a supplier of inflight and travel textiles, is building a new factory in Lanxi City, China.

The new facility will be able to manufacture nearly 7 million products per year which, when combined with RTG’s existing factory, will give a total in-house capacity of over 10 million.

In addition to the factories in China, RTG also sources specialist items from partners in other countries including Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Phase One of the new factory will consist of four buildings totaling 182,000 square feet of space. Units 1 and 2 will house the main warehousing and sewing facilities, and also RTG’s own transfer printing and embroidery processes.

Also incorporated within Unit 1 will be a knitting facility, bringing in house the production of RTG’s own Coonskyn, Brightskyn and Thermoskyn performance fabric.
