Familiar shapes on Southwest snacks

Southwest Airlines latest snack is getting good reviews from passengers and that’s pleasing its distributor, Oakfield Farms.

The airplane shaped snacks are made by Kraft/Nabisco, the U.S. food giants. The snack was produced in conjunction with the Texas-based airline’s 35th anniversary.

The new crackers are a “fun project and it is getting great passenger feedback,” says Paul Platamone of Oakfield Farms

"We think our customers will be surprised and delighted as they enjoy the unique Nabisco snacks, and we appreciate the fact that Kraft has found such a fun way to help us celebrate our 35th anniversary," said Tracey Harris, Southwest's manager of airport and inflight merchandising.
