Heineken, is testing its newest product innovation, the BeerTender, on Silversea, with plans to roll out the device to more cruise lines next year. The BeerTender was first developed for regular use of draught beer in a home environment. It has a 4-liter keg that keeps the beer optimal temperatures for up to three weeks after the it has been tapped. “Due to the relatively small amount of draught beer sold onboard of Silversea cruises, the Heineken BeerTender is the perfect solution to offer draught beer to her guests,” said a release from Heineken. For cruises with a larger capacity of guests, Heineken Duty Free & Travel Retail offers the Xtreme Draught, which is a portable draught system with 20 or 30-liter system. The Xtreme Draught has been placed on the MSC Opera and the entire fleet of Norwegian Cruise Line. |
