Cathay Pacific solves spills ills
Messy children in a cramped airline environment have been the bane of traveling parents, and Cathay Pacific Airways has come to their aid with a line of products for onboard cleanup.
At the end of the June the carrier began boarding the Oopzee Dayzee line of clothing and amenities that can help parents clean up their kids during a trip. The airline now hands out t-shirts, pants and cotton towels for wearing and L’Oreal moisturizing facemask for adults at a cost of HK$220 (US$28.31). It is designed to fit children from 18 to 24 months old.
So far, the product’s been a hit, says Cindy Lam, Cathay Pacific’s Inflight Sales and Logistics manager, in the announcement of the new product. "We hear from our passengers they would like to keep their faces moisturized during the flight to counteract the dry climate inside the aircraft cabin,” she said. “Although hydrating cream and boxes of facial masks are already on sale, we heard that single piece facemasks would be ideal just for the journey’s use."
