SSP to open 14 outlets in Lyon

Select Service Partner has signed a 10-year agreement with Lyon Saint Expuery Airport that will mean 14 new food outlets for the facility, generating an estimated €150 million (US$195 million) over the life of the contract.

The new agreement starts in May. Among the concepts will be a partnership with a Michelin starred chef Nicolas La Bec. The restaurant at the airport will be called Espace Le Bec and will feature local cuisine. There will also be a Pizza Hut, Caffè Ritazza and Segafedo. Among the local favorites will be fast food outlets Brioche Doreè and Fournil de Pierre. Finally, SSP plans a brasserie called Gran Comptoir that will concentrate on fine wines.

Nick Inkster, Managing Director of SSP France said: "this latest contract win consolidates our position in the French market, and places us in an excellent position to continue our expansion in the region. In our bid we aimed to demonstrate our innovative approach, our passion for high quality and our sound commercial awareness."
