A new company name and logo, stressing its association with Singapore Air Terminal Services and ending it association with the former Eurest Catering group was recently announced by the Manila based caterer now known as MacroAsia Catering Services. The move caps a year where the caterer achieved some significant milestones. In a January release, MacroAsia touted its highlight of 2006, the Best Caterer-Gold Award from Cathay Pacific Airways. In the past year, the caterer has upgraded its technology with software from Inflairnet to handle kitchen management. The company has renewed its ISO and HACCP certifications and received a Halal certification from the country’s Office on Muslim Affairs. In a message to customers, general manager Tomas Jamtander said, “as we look ahead to another record breaking year, we humbly acknowledge that our achievements would not be possible without your strong and untiring support.”
