Business up at JFK Terminal 4

Shops and beverage outlets at New York Kennedy’s Terminal 4 recorded a 15 percent increase in sales, and handled business for 3.8 million customers in 2006.

A number of landmarks were reached in the course of the year. The Terminal, which is privately operated, extended its duty free agreement with DFS unitil 2011 and its other retail agreement with Hudson News until 2013. Hudson News opened a larger outlet, 7,500 square, feet in 2006, done up in a New York loft style design.

Late last year, Terminal 4 opened the Bijoux Terner, a collection of discount apparel shops. Other new stories include a Sharper Image store, a Hershey’s chocolate shop, a Ports of Call souvenir shop and a Wok ‘n’ Roll Restaurant.
