New Faces, New Places

Alex Forbes is the new commercial director for the United Kingdom and Ireland for Alpha Flight Services. He comes to the company from TNT International where he was responsible for improving the logistics and supply chain efficiency at the parcel and freight carrier. Other experience includes seven years at the airline My Travel.

At LSG Sky Chefs, three people have been named to manage the caterer’s customer service centers in the United Kingdom. Mark Whelan will manage the specialized halal unit 600 at London-Heathrow. He has been with the caterer since 2006 and was previously manager of the company’s operations in Birmingham.

John Williams is the new manager of the caterer’s Unit 27 at Heathrow. He comes to LSG Sky Chefs from Alpha, where he worked for 20 years and he held a number of positions, including head chef, and managing several departments.

Finally, Mark Webber will manage the LSG Sky Chefs unit in Birmingham. He was previously unit manager at the East Midlands Airport Customer Service Center.
