Boston Logan International Airport offers Mexican cuisine
BAA Boston, developer and manager of the AIRMALL at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), and Dine Boston are preparing to take airport visitors “South of the Border” for innovative, modern Mexican cuisine. Chef Erwin Ramos from Olé Mexican Grill is the latest chef to offer new menu items at Dine Boston as part of the Dine Boston Visiting Chef Program, which showcases New England chefs’ specialties for a three-month period at the airport restaurant.
“The Dine Boston Visiting Chef Program is a great opportunity for travelers as well as the general public to experience the diversity of Boston’s culinary scene,” said Mike Caro, vice president of development for BAA Boston. “We are pleased to welcome Chef Erwin Ramos to the AIRMALL and excited to taste his unique creations.”
Dine Boston is conveniently located pre-security in the AIRMALL in Terminal E, which means airport visitors and airline passengers can both sample the fare created by Chef Ramos. His modern take on traditional dishes has earned Olé Mexican Grill favorable reviews from The Boston Globe and Boston Herald.
Ramos’ menu will include items such as Tacos de Camarones (beer-battered shrimp tacos with pickled cabbage, chipotle mayonnaise and cilantro pesto) and Róbalo Asado (pan-seared wild sea bass with grilled corn polenta, sautéed organic baby spinach and red bell pepper-chipotle sauce).
