Regent goes Australian
Regent Seven Seas Cruises will offer a six-day enrichment program and a 13-day cruise highlighting Australian wine and cuisine this year.
The Australian Food and Wine Experience wall also include stays at luxurious boutique hotels during its November itinerary from Sydney to Auckland on the Seven Seas Mariner.
The cruise and enrichment program is part of the Regent Circles of Interest program that allows passengers to discover topics “through the lens of particular interest.” Art, cuisine, history, conservation, photography and wellness have been previous topics.
Among the wineries that guests will visit in Australia are the De Bartoli, Yering Station, Green Point and Coldstream Hills. As part of the trip, author and chef Allan Campion will share some of his favorite “foodie” experiences in Melbourne.
A gourmet walkabout will take place at the Sydney Fish Market and wine tastings at Catalina’s restaurant overlooking Sydney Harbour.
