Celebrity debuts Solstice restaurants
Celebrity Cruises unveiled its “Top 10” restaurants that will be on the new Celebrity Soltice when the ship sets sail this fall.
The new restaurants were shown to a group of invited guests this week in Miami.
The new ship’s dining venues were designed by several well known names in the field, most prominently, Adam Tihany who is in his first foray into the cruise ship category. Tihany was responsible for the ship’s two-level Grand Epernay dining room, Tuscan Grille Restaurant and the casual Oceanview Café and Grill. Others involved in the work was Celebrity’s culinary consultant Blau & Associates, whose work is found in a number of high-end Las Vegas Hotels.
The line’s vice president of food and beverage, Jacques Van Staden worked with Blau & Associates on each of the 10 venues.
“The team will take their creations into test kitchens later this month to ensure each selection meets Celebrity’s discerning guests’ tastes,” said a release from the cruise line.
