Passengers enjoy new service in the KoruHour on ANZ

Starting this week, domestic flights on Air New Zealand will have a number of enhancements during meal windows, known as the KoruHour.

On weekdays on the first flight through 09:00, passengers will be served muesli or muffins, gourmet coffee called the Gravity plunger, tea, orange juice and water and a complementary newspaper.

The KoruHour between 17:00 and 20:00 will have a selection of New Zealand wines and Kapiti cheese, crackers and grapes.

After 20:00, during the day and through the weekends, ANZ is boarding a variety of healthy snacks such as dried fruit and Cassava chips.

“This new offering comes close on the heels of significant fare reductions designed to make domestic air travel more affordable and will be followed by a number of other innovative developments in the coming weeks,” said Bruce Parton, the airline’s group general manager of short haul.

The KoruHour service will be available on Air New Zealand’s 737 and A320 routes to Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown.
