Heineken beer debuts on ferry line Heineken’s new Extra Cold brand beer on tap will now be on the Greek ferry line SuperFast. The SuperFast is the first ferry line with Heineken Extra Cold installed on board. The beer requires special equipment to keep it at a near freezing temperature. Theo Sourtzis, Chief Steward at Superfast says: "All the people ‘feel the ice’ and regular customers even ask if Heineken Extra Cold Draught is also available on our other ferries." Officials at Heineken were recently touting the distinction of making the top 10 of the travel retail liquor lines in the recently released Databank from Generation Publications. Sergey Pletnev, Global Account Manager Airports, said the designation is 'Yet another important step in the recognition of beer as a category within travel retail, next to liquor and wines.'
