A British writer who has spent 35 years in airline catering has published a book called Gourmet and Glamour in the Sky crammed with vintage pictures and stories about his years in the industry.

George Banks is the author of the book, published by GMS Enterprises. Banks worked for several carriers over the years, including Gulf Aviation, British Caledonian Airways and British Airways. He has also written stories for Gourmet Traveler, Asia Travel Trade, Air Travel eNews and ABC Airways.
