Gulf Air Sky Chef prepares airline fare at gourmet show
Gulf Air Sky Chef Jack Peacock joined a group of chefs from across the globe in Johannesburg, South Africa for the country’s annual “Good Food and Wine Show.”
The three-day event invited some of the biggest names in the culinary world. Attending the event were chefs Anthony Worrall Thompson, James Martin, Brian Turner and James Tanner.
Peacock took the audience through the preparation of a three-course meal on Gulf Air and invited them to take part in a hands-on workshop for preparing the meals. "This is a great opportunity to show how Gulf Air is passionate about design, delivery and service of its inflight catering," Peacock said, in a release on the event.
The yearly 'Good Food and Wine Show' provides an authoritative platform for South Africa’s food, wine and hospitality industries to showcase their products to the culinary world outside Africa. The show also provides an opportunity for chefs representing international airline companies, hotels and restaurants and, individual celebrity chefs to introduce global culinary trends.
