Bartenders and chefs now have until September 30 to submit recipes for the third annual Bacardi Cruise Competition. Bacardi announced the extension this week. Winners can earn cash and scholarships with the Marine Hotel Association. They can earn the title of Bartender of the Year and Chef of the Year by making recipes with Bacardi’s portfolio of drinks. Cocktail Categories are: Martini, Frozen, Rocks/Highball, Specialty and Signature. Culinary Categories are Meat/Poultry, Fish/Seafood, Soup, Vegetarian and Dessert. Last years winners were both from Carnival Cruise Lines. Mario Jelic was the Bartender of the Year and Bipin Sharma was Chef of the Year.
