LAN Airlines will be one of the new tenants along with shops, dining establishments at other carriers at the new Concourse J at Miami International Airport. The new LAN offices are set to open the first week in September. It will have its own customs and immigration facilities, 150 ticket counters, two security checkpoints and 400 feet of moving walkway. Walls of the new concourse will be decorated with images from he south Florida Everglades. Passengers will be able to shop for clothes from designers and purchase books and gadgets. Manicure outlets will also be available. |
