Virgin Blue opens lounge in Adelaide

Virgin Blue has ramped up its corporate push into Adelaide with the opening today of The Lounge in the Virgin Blue terminal at Adelaide Airport.

The airline recently upgraded its lounge offering in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to provide passengers with an all-inclusive, sophisticated and business friendly facility.

Adelaide is the fourth Virgin Blue airport to have The Lounge, which will, offers complimentary food and beverages, free wireless internet access, and a business and relax zone.

Virgin Blue Chief Executive, Brett Godfrey, said, “The decision to open our newest The Lounge in Adelaide was based on a number of factors, including the growing number of corporate accounts we have gained in Adelaide, the enormous support the airline has received from the Adelaide community since our launch and the fact there is a modern new terminal that merits a modern Virgin Blue lounge.”
