Saudi Arabian to privatize business units

Saudi Arabian Airlines will privatize five business units next year, some through public listings, as it paves the way for shares to be sold on its core business unit.

The Kingdom’s government has given the flag carrier's board the green light to turn its catering, handling, cargo, pilot training and technical and maintenance units into independent firms.

Income last year from catering was 650 million riyals (USD$173.3 million) reports Airline Finance News.
