Gate Gourmet to cater Jetstar for long haul

The Australian carrier JetStar will be the largest customer for Gate Gourmet in Australia with its new long-haul routes starting in November.

Jetstar, the budget airline of Qantas, will fly to six international destinations covering nine international routes. They are: Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, Osaka, Honolulu, Ho Chi Minh City and Bali. JetStar will operate service from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Gate Gourmet has been managing the provisioning of the domestic catering product since the start of the Jetstar operations in May 2004.
