SSP to open restaurants at Pudong

Select Service Partner has signed a five-year contract to operate three new outlets at Terminal 1 at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai.

SSP will open an Italian restaurant, a Café Ritazza coffee shop and a new bar. Construction started in April and the three operations should be open by June.

This is the second contract SSP has recently signed with Pudong Airport. The company will open 10 more units in Terminal 2 next spring. SSP signed a contract for Terminal 2 last spring for a 10-year period. Estimates show that the company stands to earn £106 million (US$212 million) over the life of the contract.
