Servair, Newrest service LCY

Airline caterer’s Servair and Newrest have opened a new catering unit in the heart of London, producing 4,000 meals per day at London City Airport.

The unit opened at the end of March. Customers include Air France which operates 30 daily flights and a number of private jets and VIP service. The unit is approximately 900 square meters and is managed by Pierre Martens from Newrest.

Servair and Newrest are majority owners of the unit. Twenty percent of the unit is owned by the British handling company Airport Logistics Limited.

Servair says approximately 2.9 million people passed through the airport last year, located in the docklands area of London.
